Far Flung Seeds

This is a project for a private residence in Holyoke, MA, written by Josie Wakerobin (née Kaul). A small and extremely rambunctious property surrounded by other residences, the project site had both unique constraints and assets. A major project goal was to create intention and form within the overgrown property while maintaining the site's character of sylvan privacy. Alongside the final design are several preliminary designs workshopped by the clients, as well as analysis of both historical and ecological conditions of the individual site as well as the surrounding area.
